Effective Date: 10 April 2026
Welcome to Aplailasain, a service provided by Static Carnival Technologies Limited. By accessing or using Aplailasain, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
Aplailasain is an online revision and study support platform that provides AI-assisted tutoring, feedback, marking guidance, question generation, and related study tools for educational use. Unless we expressly state otherwise, Aplailasain is an independent study support service and is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or operated by any examination board, school, college, or university.
You are responsible for ensuring that information you provide is accurate and that your account credentials remain secure. The service is intended to support genuine study and revision. If you are under 18, we recommend that a parent or guardian reviews these Terms with you before a paid purchase is made.
Paid access to Aplailasain is digital content and/or a digital service supplied online. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers normally have 14 days to cancel a distance contract for digital content or services.
However, if you ask us to start supplying paid digital access during that 14-day period, and you give the required express consent and acknowledgement, you will lose your right to cancel once supply begins. Where required by law, we will ask for that consent and acknowledgement during checkout or the ordering process and will confirm it on a durable medium, such as email.
Paid access is provided through fixed-term passes stated at the point of purchase. Unless we expressly state otherwise at checkout, paid passes do not auto-renew. Your available features, usage allowances, and tools depend on the pass you purchase. Once a paid pass ends, your account may revert to an available free tier or another access level then offered by us.
Please review plan details carefully before purchase. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected. Any refund or cancellation rights that apply will depend on the product purchased, whether supply has started, and whether you provided the express consent and acknowledgement described above for immediate digital supply.
Aplailasain uses artificial intelligence, including third-party AI models together with our own prompts, guardrails, and software, to generate tutoring responses, feedback, marking guidance, and study support. You acknowledge that:
Aplailasain is intended to support learning and revision. You must not use the service in a way that breaches school, college, university, assessment, or examination rules, including submitting AI-generated work as entirely your own where this is not permitted.
Access to the service is subject to fair and reasonable personal educational use. You must not misuse the platform, including by automated scraping, account sharing, abusive or excessive usage, attempts to reverse engineer the service, security testing without permission, or use that disrupts the service for other users. We may apply technical limits, suspend access, or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or our legal position.
You may request deletion of your account through the application settings where that feature is made available, or by contacting us. If your account remains inactive for a continuous period of 12 months, we may begin a deletion process after giving reasonable prior notice where practicable. When an account is deleted, live application data such as your user profile, study history, and usage records may be permanently removed. We may retain limited payment, transaction, security, fraud-prevention, audit, and legal compliance records where reasonably necessary.
We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or withdraw parts of the service where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or service improvement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability at all times.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis for educational support. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any statutory rights you have under applicable consumer law. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from reliance on AI-generated content.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, except that if you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom you may also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of that part of the UK.
